Dom Luis I Bridge

Porto's best-known landmark, linking the city to Vila Nova de Gaia.

The Dom Luis I Bridge was designed by Theophile Seyrig, a partner of Gustave Eiffel. The upper deck carries the metro and pedestrians, and the lower deck carries road traffic.
